Trick Shot

Trick Shot 1 & 2 are a pair of physics-based puzzle-games I created between 2015 & 2018.

At the beginning of 2015 I was working in the animation & visual effects industry but, when a job came up at Ustwo Games, I jumped at the opertunity. Before long I was sure I wanted to stay in games, the only problem was that I had zero experience this new field...

The best way to get experience I figured, was to make my own game. Over the next ~10 months, during my hour long commute to and from work and in borrowed hours from the evenings, I designed and built Trick Shot.

I followed up Trick Shot with a sequal in 2018, adding new levels, an in game level editor and a sharing feature that allowed players to swap levels by text.

Building these games has absolutely cemented my love of craft and evening projects. It sounds funny to say, but these games really allowed me to learn more about myself - what makes me tick, what I'm good at, and what I'm not so good at...

I have plenty of other side projects to work on right now, but who knows, maybe someday I'll make Trick Shot 3.
